Ship Excursions

Doubtful, but sometimes people cancel. If you really want to go on a specific excursion that is showing as sold out, you have two possible options...

1. Go to the Shore excursions desk when you board and ask. They may be able to hold your name for a cancellation or may have extra space available. You never know unless you ask!

2. Look for the tour independently. Check the Ports of Call section of this board and maybe even ask there to see if anyone knows the operator. Often they have a website where you can book directly (and maybe even save some money). Chances are they have allocated a number of spaces for the cruise line and have extra room to sell directly for other lines and local hotel tourists.

Thank you.

No, once they are gone they are gone until someone cancels or occasionally they manage to add additional capacity, but there is nothing held back for onboard booking.

Thank you.

I have the same issue with an excursion that leaves directly  from the ship and cannot be booked independently.

l kept checking many times during the day and finally there was one opening and I grabbed it quickly!  So happy because it was the excursion I REALLY wanted to do the most.

I am continuing to do that by checking many times during the day because another member of our group would like to go too. Persistence is key. If we don’t succeed, we will go to the excursion desk as soon as possible after we board to see if there are any openings or be put on a waitlist.

Or go online and check Viator. They generally have the same excursions for less
