San Pedro to Long Beach Airport

How much time should we allow to get to the Long Beach Airport once the ship has docked at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro? We arrive at 6:00AM on a Saturday morning. Would a 10:30 AM departure from Long Beach Airport be too risky? Thank You!!

our last cruise disembarkation (walk off) started at 7.40...so you might be off the ship at 8am..if nothing goes wrong...at the best of times it would be a little less than 1/2 hour drive to the airport...so if you can carry your own luggage off the ship & everything goes well you have maybe 2 hours to get a cab/uber/lyft...check in at the airport & get to your gate (Long Beach airport is small & tends to be easy to navigate) but it really depends on your risk tolerance & what other options are available.

The question you need to ask is what happens if you don’t make it to LGB in time? What if there’s fog and the port is closed and you don’t dock at 6:00? What are the options then and are you prepared to take that risk?
