Carnival Dream Internet Speed

We will be on Carnival dream for 6 days cruise from Galvestone, was wondering anyone done speed test on internet speed.

I did a few times, but it was a while back so it would be pointless to say. It's not a stellar performance 😶

We were on it last July.  It was not that great.  No hard numbers for you.  Even the chat feature was lacking.  We would text someone and they would get the text hours later...

Was on the Dream in December of 22, stayed in a cove balcony on Deck 2. We had plenty of speed in our cabin and used the internet on three devices total. It was easy to switch back and forth too. We didn't try the in-app texting, though, because it cost additional (which makes 0 sense- if you pay for a package it should just be included).

 

The only area where it didn't work great was on sea days in the Haven area, but even still I could load webpages and scroll social media fine. I wouldn't want to take a zoom call necessarily, but otherwise it worked just fine.

Carnival Dream won't be in drydock for another year or two. The ships that are entering Drydock seem t o be getting Starlink.
