July Cruise DOC DANCE and $910 cabin credit!!!

We received our docs yesterday for the July 1st sailing of the SENSATION -- wow, they are on top of things.. except it seems they are sending fewer and fewer luggage tags (4 for our cabin - the two of us in a 4D)- perhaps it is my imagination (clouded memory)... I tried calling Carnival about this and they just tell me to get more from the porters - they "do not send extras out anymore"... I told them that time (luggage unloading) can be hectic enough without hanging out filling out more tags.. GEESH

OH, about the cabin credit (kind of a teaser there)-- we were in a Cat 12, but changed to the 4 and asked for the credit instead of a refund... hey that gives me ALOT of "fun buffer"...! (We are saving our SUITE trip for the Legend)

GoinCrusin: I think you need a short mid-summer cruise to prep you for the 7-day you have around the corner...we will buy you a few drinks with all that credit we have... [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] (We have only found one other couple - Wes - that is going on this sailing!)

Cotton: We about have the Sensation down to a science now.. I think we reviewed her once or twice last year... I can't even find my old posts with the search feature.. but if anything new crops up - I will be sure to pass it along! As far as how many suitcases... well for the two of us we always have at least 6 or 7... we bring along LOTS of stuff >> 3 piece speaker system (w/woofer) for the mp3's on the laptop to keep the party going in the cabin... and don't forget the crockpot, blender and toaster LOL (just kiddin' on those last 3 items [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img] )

Well, we'll get on as you get off so hollar any advice as you leave. We'll be the family eagerly waiting way too early to board.

Tom-Print out some sticky Address lables on your computer and keep it with your docs. We had a guarentee last time and that's what we did once we got out cabin # at the dock. Just stuck them to the luggage tag they gave us, wrote our cabin # in them (you won't have to do that since you already know your cabin #), slapped them on. Made a bunch extra to use for exchanging addresses/telephone #'s and e-mail addresses with the great people we met on our cruise! Have a great time!
