Sarah, question re Kauntan

I don't remember exactly how far, but I remember it was one of the first things we passed in our bus - it is a bit to get out of the actual port, though. It wasn't nearly as crazy as Laem Chabang, but still kind of bare and took a little to get out of. I wouldn't say you could walk there, but I'm sure the taxi ride would be cheap! Not sure of the scale on this map http://maps-guide.org/malaysia/kuantan-map.htm but you can see it is just a bit south of the port.
