D+D Posted March 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2006 After its refitting in 2004, many of the public areas on Spirit were renamed or changed in function. I guess, to no one’s surprise, the woefully outdated NCL site still features deck plans with the previous names. As a sort of resource for myself and other CC users - Please help me to clarify the name changes, and the current names and functions of the public areas on Spirit. Any additions, comments, edits are greatly appreciated. Thanks D Old Name = Current Name; Function (brief) Admiral Club = Maharini’s; posh nightclub Bamboo = Shogun; surcharge Asian restaurant Tetami = Tetami; traditional Japanese dining on mats Teppanyaki; Benihana-style presentation cooking (does this still exist?) Sushi Bar = Sushi Bar; a la carte sushi Maxim’s = Cagney’s; surcharge steakhouse Moulan Rouge = Stardust; main show theater Tai Pan = La Bistro; surcharge French restaurant The Bund = Shanghai; sports bar As far as I can tell, these areas have retained their former names.
