Hi - we'll be on the Encore 4/9/23-4/16/23.  Has anyone done the ship excursion= COUNTRYSIDE SAFARI - LOCAL STYLE?

If so, was it an open-air safari type vehicle, and did it go over very bumpy roads?  Hubby has a bad back so that's out for us.

Also, for the in-town tour, were there many steps?  We're okay with a few steps but not big flights of steps.

TYIA for replies!

You might want to list which port.

I've done it. It is basically an open air tram attached to a truck, at least when I did it in January 2022.  Not too many bumpy roads as I recall and it was an interesting insight into the DR -- including eye opening poverty faced by many of its citizens. I recommend it.
