Queen Mary 2: Bermuda

Question: Does anyone know of the possibility of a Queen Mary 2 cruise to Bermuda? QE2 was a frequent visitor to Bermuda, and I am wondering if Queen Mary 2 will also establish a presence. I enjoyed 2 cruises to Bermuda aboard QE2, once anchoring for 2 days in the harbor and the other time docking at Royal Dockyard.

I hope so!!!!! But I doubt it BIG SHIP small crowded harbors!!!!

Cunard would be a great way to experience that bit of heaven.

With Celebrity leaving soon, Bermuda needs an upscale line to fill the void.

 

Here's hoping they plan on doing a few calls in the near future.

after jogging my memory i recall an article about bermuda regulating how many ships and visitors they have at any one time and that they were opposed to larger ships visiting because it was too many visitors at any one time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having sailed there with Paul Wright as Captain on QE2, when we were on the QM2, I asked him if Cunard was going to resume its bi-yearly stops there. As far as he knew there were no plans to do so.
