lodging in Civitavecchia

Can anyone recommend lodging in Civitavecchia for a night precruise departure?

We made reservations at the Hotel Traiano for the pre cruise night in Civitavecchia. They were very responsive and offered to arrange shuttle pick-up at the airport for a reasonable price. The hotel description sounded good and they do provide a full breakfast with the cost of the room, which I think was around $100. Try www.hoteltraiano.com

 

Since our plane arrives around 2:00 pm, after more than 24 hours of travel, we felt we would only want to get to a hotel and sleep. I think the shuttle cost is about 60 euro and holds 6 people, so I am hoping there will be others along to split the cost.
