Wondering if anyone out there who has taken a regular bus tour to Mendenhall glacier, could answer a few questions.

Would the terrain at the sightseeing areas in the park and around the visitor center be difficult for someone with a a bit of a walking disability?

We are considering doing the blue bus to Mendenhall glacier. While my DH can walk a fairly good distance, although just a bit slower than a normal gait, he must be careful.  Hilly trails & bumpy, rocky, terrain or icy ground  can be difficult to undoable for him. He often avoids areas require a very good balancing ability. We have a small foldable travel scooter, but of course, would not expect to be bringing  that on this particular tour as I’m pretty sure it would be impossible to use there.

Any information about the destination would be helpful.

Mendenhall does have ADA accessibility.  You can get more information here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/tongass/about-forest/offices/?cid=stelprdb5401451
