Amount of time to walk Villefranche and St. Jean Cap Ferret before a shore excursion

Hi there. I know this is very wide open (subjective) question, but can someone help me and my DW, who will tendered in Villefranche in early May, with ideas of  what to see on a walk of the port area and very nearby.  Is  a walk  around the bay and to Cap Saint Jean Ferrat (pardon re sp) feasible if we have a  midday cruise ship tour booked?

 

Ideas and comments/advice appreciated.

You are tendered right into villefranche.   Nice to walk around.  Map how far the locations are to walk to.  Then you may have to get back to ship if have tour thru ship or find out if can meet ashore.   Most likely if traveling by vehicle.
