BrittaniMV Posted March 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2006 I have really enjoyed everyone's posts. Truly it's amazing to go to one site and find so many helpful people with such great tips. We are looking at going on a Seabourn cruise that stops in Point-a-Pitre, Guadaloupe and Virgin Gordan (BVI). Has anyone been to either of these ports? What is there to do or see?? Thanks! Nitrodog Posted March 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2006 I've heard the diving is good at Virgin Gorda.
Zeno Posted March 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2006 1. Guadeloupe has lovely scenery on the West side of the "butterfly" (look at a map of Guadeloupe and you will know why I call it the "butterfly") and great beaches on the East side (Plage Caravelle/ Plage St Anne where the Club Med is located is gorgeous - one of the prettiest beaches in the Caribbean. 2. Virgin Gorda - go to The Baths!
SqueakyDust Posted March 13, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2006 Look under the Tortola portof call and you'll find heaps of info on The Baths at Virgin Gorda. Can't recommend that island enough.
