MSC Boarding Time

Hello. I'm going on my first cruise on the 7th of May leaving Genova (MSC Opera). When I booked all of it, the ship was schedulled to leave port at 19h. Now, without even being notitified, I was checking the booking on the manage booking page at MSC, and just realized the ship changed itenerary. Its now leaving at 18h instead of 19h (because its going to Napoles the next day and it was supposed to be navigati g) and our embarkation time changed from 15 to 12!!! We already booked everything to be at Genova by 14h00. Its impossible to be there at 1200. However, I've read on MSC that checkin closes 2 hours prior ship leaving port, so 18-2= 16h.

My question is, checking closes at 16h, even though my embarkation time is for 12, if I get there by 14/14h30 will I be allowed boarding or will I be denied entry?

Thank you!

Thank you,

you will be fine to board at 1400-1430 if boarding closes at1600.

The only hard rule of which I’m aware is the “must be checked in 2 hours prior to departure”
