butterfly2 Posted March 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2006 I see that they do not pick you up where the tenders come in, so you must walk to their shop.Is it far or hard to find? How long does it take to walk there? Do they have snorkel life vests and gear for you to use? Thanks?
Melanie1437 Posted March 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2006 We were there about 3 years ago and did Captin Marvins. The walk was probably about 10 minutes and pretty flat if I remember correctly. They have all the gear you will need. It was a great trip- one I still think about today! Enjoy and have a great time!! :)
Rare k9hndler Posted March 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2006 Get off the pier, take a left, walk two blocks (past Rum Cake Pirate Statue) and it's right behind the english bakery. About a five minute walk. We have done Capt Marvin's several times and HIGHLY recomend them. Good Luck
familycruises Posted March 12, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2006 HIGHLY recommend Captain Marvin's! Very short walk. Easy to find. awesome staff. We did the stingray trip last time--this time we chartered a fishing boat/excursion. Can't wait!
Sheffie Posted March 12, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2006 Get off the pier, take a left, walk two blocks (past Rum Cake Pirate Statue) and it's right behind the english bakery. About a five minute walk. We have done Capt Marvin's several times and HIGHLY recomend them. Good Luck That is the same place where we met for Captain Bryan's Buccaneer excursion. Hmmmmmm. Our excursion was at 10:30, so they must be friends, and the staggering of excursion times works to their advantage so they can share the same spot. Oh, the Bakery . . . GOOD food! Also, they have free internet access there. You cannot get on AOL, but you CAN get on CruiseCritic!
LarryF Posted March 12, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 12, 2006 As everyone says, it's about a 10 minute walk. Bakery is very good, but bring one dollar bills to pay for the bakery goods, or you recieve "caymian" money as change and the exchange rate is horrendous! Captain Marvin's tour is so good, we have done it three times!!
