petaid Posted April 24, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2023 Any noise problems underneath the casino or anywhere else experienced by past guests? Which side of the ship is a better location? Are the doors from the outside to the hallways of the OV cabins located only at the Fwd and Aft ends of the ship? It’s difficult to see the exit/entrance on the deck 3 plan. Preferred to stay on deck 3 due to possible motion sickness.
Hafa2990 Posted April 24, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2023 We are just off Apex and were deck 3 starboard, right in the middle of the ship between magic carpet tracks. The grand plaza was just aside us and we could hear music from it, but typically by 11 pm it quieted down (or else we just fell asleep and stopped noticing it). I believe we were right under Cafe Bacio. Entrance/exit to hallway was only fwd and aft on Apex. We could hear noise from magic carpet moving but I think they only move it 1-2x per day and the noice only lasts a few minutes. felt very little movement in the stateroom - I think being low/midship helped as if we would go back to Eden or fwd to theater we could definitely feel more. Keyeast Posted April 24, 2023 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2023 Stayed in 3198 back in March, cabin was quiet . Usually book a balcony but this was a last minute cruise. Actually found cabin and location very convenient for dining and evening activities. Would book it again.
