When to book? Infinity out of San Francisco

Ok, I'm waiting and checking X website daily for them to post booking ability for the 10/11 night Mexican Riviera Cruise out of San Francisco for 2007. But as I think about I wonder if RIGHT time they do open up for bookings is the cheapest or do prices drop, get better, etc. later?

 

I read from another thread that it won't be for anohter 2 months until they open up and allow these bookings but I'm checking everyday! This port is SO close to home and we'd love to give it a try.

 

Anyone sailed this itinerary? Anyone waiting like me? Anyone think that X might not do this itinerary again?

I am interested in this also - we cruised to Mexico twice from S.F. on Mercury and am sorry to see that end. We have cruised on Infinity and loved it also - just something about Mercury that made it our favorite ship.

2007 will likely open up in May or June. It's too early to know what the itineraries might be.

 

I recommend booking as soon as it opens up. If you use a good travel agent, he or she will watch the prices and lower yours if the price should go down.

I've never used a TA but I see that many do. What are the pros and cons?

It would be a tough call to project what Celebrity has in store for 2007 as far as the Mexican Riviera cruises are concerned. They haven't done all that well.

 

But it looks like RCL will be putting a Voyager class ship on the west coast.

 

Irks me they can't get their schedules out sooner. Both HAL and Princess have Europe 2007 out.

Book early this is when the prices are the lowest.

You can always turn over the booking to your TA and they shoiuld watch out for any price drops.

We took Mercury out of San Francisco last May...it was just wonderful! Great itinerary. We have been on Mercury quite a few times, and are never dissapointed.

They were supposed to move Navigator to the Mexican Riviera in 2007. However, those dreams were dashed when they announced it was going to Europe.
