Hello fellow-addicts(or sickos as we may also be called). The posting:"Warning..do not read the boards", is the same sort of thing. Since my cruise is not until Jan./05, there is no way I should be using my time to check the boards so often-I should be cleaning/cooking/etc.-YUCK! I am learning tons about cruising,excursions etc. and this is fun!! Take care everyone, and have a great cruise if you are lucky enough to be leaving in the near future!!

O.K., I admit it. I'm a sicko too. My husband did make fun of me when I first found these boards and accused me of "wasting time". Now, he wholeheartedly supports every minute I spend on these boards. I've saved him a lot of money and a lot of aggravation from things I have learned here. So, from one sicko to the rest of you, keep up the good work.

I've been addicted to these boards for years! It's some of my friends who think I'm nuts! They ask me, "Why would you want to meet people from the INTERNET while you're on vacation?!" I just tell them that these are fine folks and that it has become an additional perk to our cruises! And all of the "insider" information the I gain here is priceless! I love it here!

Although my DH claims he has not been on the board...I'm convinced he must have been talking to some of the other spouses here, since I have been accused of ALL of the above infractions...

 

But he's secretly happy (I know, because I can read his mind) that I am doing all the leg work, and all he has to do is pack himself and drive to the airport!!

My family use to give me a hard time -- till I showed them what I learned and found out on these boards, now they thank me and ask me what is new!

My daughter is a CC pusher and got me addicted to the boards. I had pages and pages printed up before our first cruise. I think my DH realized how helpful the boards were when we used all the info on those printed pages.

When I first found this board over a year and a half ago, My DH told me to "Leave those people alone" when I only had about 9 posts. He had no clue. He thought I was bothering people with my questions.

Thanks for the encouraging words Dusty. Now for an update...my DH is getting excited..We only have 8 more days, so he doesn't think I am as "sick" as I was say..a couple of weeks ago. Now he is starting to see the light! LOL
