MSC Onboard Reservations

Hey all. Sailing the World Europa this summer. While the web site allows me to book specialty restaurant packages, it doesn't seem to be allowing to book specific times. Two questions:

 

1) If I wait until we board, does being in the Yacht Club give one an edge on getting availabilities in the specialty restaurants?

2) If I book a package, does it guarantee me availability once onboard?
