Cruzzzeeerrr50 Posted May 8, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2023 Can you check a soft sided cooler with soda in it?
Rare PrincessArlena'sDad Posted May 8, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 8, 2023 I'm pretty sure drinks must be in carry on.
wemjam Posted May 8, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2023 NO, you have to carry it on On embarkation day, a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, energy drinks, juice, and milk), packaged in cans or cartons, may be brought on board and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 375-ml each or less, per person.
Drazil65 Posted May 8, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 8, 2023 (edited) No...all your allotted drinks must be hand carried on. If you dont want to carry on or want more than you are allowed to bring on then you have the option to purchase additional items ahead of cruise and they will be placed in your cabin. Honestly, I would be afraid the pop would be a hot mess by the time it got to the room (especially in a soft side cooler). I think they do it because as a liquid it is going to be more scrutinized through the carry on scanners versus the ship scanners for general bags. I have heard a lot of people comment on the boards about how their pop was checked over even by hand looking at the carton, etc.
