We are going on the celebration, can you open cabin windows in staterooms?

In the Navy I used to be a damage control petty officer. Opening windows can effect the watertight integrity of the ship. Not a good idea.

And for good reason. :rolleyes: Ask the poor schmoes who propped their balcony doors open on NCL Dawn what their cabins looked like after the ship was hit by the rogue wave.

Everyone post about opening balcony doors so just wondered about the windows if you had doors on some you could open.

Congratulations on your 10th Anniversary and on your upcoming cruise!!:)

The only cabins with balconies on the Celebration are the 10 suites.

The Ocean View rooms have windows but they are sealed tight and there is no way to open them. (except as mentioned previously by mrdood LOL!!)

 

I hope your first cruise is everything you hope it will be!:)
