Miami Port MSC 4:00 Embarkation Time

So this is our first MSC cruise  out of Miami on June 4th, and we got a 4:00 Embarkation time. That seems late as the boat leaves at 5:00. Has anyone shown up earlier and been able to get in? We are not YC members either. We have, in the past, shown up on other cruise lines as early as 11:00 and had no problem boarding. We would like to get lunch on the boat, but that ends at 4:00. Any insight would be helpful.

You can show up after 1 pm shouldn't be an issue then...

I'd be too nervous to board that late. I think I'd aim for no later than 2-3 hours pre-departure.
