Rare LadyL1 Posted May 18, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2023 We have been to Madeira a few times, and as for the journey, which side you book makes little difference. In the berthing area of the port of Funchal we have been on ships that have gone in both stern and bow first, so you cannot guarantee a balcony view of Funchal. Just take time in choosing a prime area on the ship for your stateroom, this could make most difference to your enjoyment! We have done this, for our sailing on QA next year! Winifred 22 Posted May 18, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted May 18, 2023 Thank you I have zoned in on midships deck 7 but wasn’t sure what side to chose. I will just see what is available if it doesn’t make a difference.
Rare LadyL1 Posted May 18, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2023 Watch out for the proposed laundry room mid ships deck 7! Otherwise should be a great deck.
Winifred 22 Posted May 18, 2023 Author #5 Share Posted May 18, 2023 (edited) Oh definitely don’t want to be near there. I think it’s starboard so I will go port if there is no difference. Edited May 18, 2023 by Winifred 22 Typo
