sunray Posted March 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2006 Does anyone know? I had to get this from the purser when we were on the Miracle, and it worked great. I want to purchase for our next cruise, and I am not sure which brand it was. Thanks!

minimartha Posted March 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2006 Bonine, You can buy it over the counter at any drug store. It is also the ingredient that a doctor would prescribe at a higher dose for dizziness. It is safe for pregnant women and children. I gave 1/2 of a pill to my 8 year old last year. meaty_petey Posted March 13, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2006 On the QM2 I got an injection of something that had far less side effects than the patch I was wearing up to that point. Do the Carnival ships also offer injections or just pills?
jack109 Posted March 13, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 13, 2006 This is what I have saved from someone elses post: "Dramamine, Meclazine, Alka-Seltzer and aspirin are available free at the Purser's Desk." Hope that helps Kim
CBXRAY Posted March 13, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 13, 2006 On mythbusters they did a show on sea sickness and ginger was the best remedy. Either pill form, cookies, ginger ale, also all natural!! My fiance and I are going on the valor in april and she is afraid she'll get sick, so we are taking ginger and bonine just to be sure. Take care, cb
