Diamond Level dining question?

I am a diamond member but traveling solo. Can I invite another family member to use the diamond dining benefit or is it restricted to as they say "cabinmates"?

I believe you are restricted to only one cabin mate, but it can’t hurt to ask.

We reserved the meal right at the venue one afternoon. They asked for the cabin number at booking I believe. When we dined, they never asked to see anything from my spouse. Maybe I could've had anyone at the table with me and they would not have known? Or maybe they checked the image in their system for my cabinmate? Nothing was ever said. I would say that you shouldn't let the person with you start thanking you loudly for bringing them along, especially in earshot of the server or host. 😉

Thanks, my son is on the same trip but we each have separate cabins. I will check it out before we go to the restaurant just to be sure. Thanks
