Mariner OTS / D1 Question

Hey there -- just joined this board as we're finally getting back into cruising (after 10 years!) Anyhow, we've booked at D1 Balcony stateroom on the Mariner of the Seas and was just wondering if the balcony door is a slider? or hinged? I'd imagine it's nice to leave the door open a bit at night to hear the waves -- just wondering if that possible.

Thanks in advance! (And i'm sure I'll be back w/more questions)
