:D Hello to all,

In January or February '07 My Sister (55) My Sister In-Law (34) My Daughters (26 and single & 30) and My Mother (70 something...who really knows for sure, She looks at least ten years younger) are going on a cruise. Mom doesn't know will be a surprise for her. Here's what we want:

7 day cruise

Eastern Carrib. (but flexible)

Less children and party'ers but...:p

not old and staunchy;)

Price is important but not a deal breaker.

cabins...don't know if we should do 3 (two to a room) or 2 (three to a room) or ???? Family Suite?

entertainment

I am the only one that has cruised before with three under my belt...which got tighter after each cruise. Celebrity and RCI

So there you go any suggestions??? I am particularly interested in which Cruiseline you would suggest and ship. also, any interesting itineraries

SOOOOO...Tell me all the wonderful things about Carnival for our group..

I really do need the input and Your help will be greatly appreciated.

This is the Celebrity thread. You need to go over to the Carnival threads if you want to know about them. I would think that for what you want Carnival is not the right cruise line.

A few benefits for Celebrity:

Excellent food

Very polished and professional service

Being escorted to your cabin upon first boarding, while sipping free bubbly

Chilled towels passed out upon reboarding from HOT ports

Understated elegant decor

A pitcher of water in your cabin instead of bottled water for sale

Sorbet offered around the pool in the afternoon (warm climate only)

Stewards carrying "everyone's" linen lined tray in the buffet

Outstanding specialty restaurants on the Millenium class vessels

Burgers in the pool area seem to be high quality "fresh" ground round

Good size, well designed standard cabins

Overall, outstanding food and service

I prefer smaller ships such as Century and Zenith
