JKD Posted June 2, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2004 Does anyone have some names of nice but low price hotels close to Port Canaveral? Thanks
legalwife Posted June 2, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2004 We have stayed at Holiday Inn Cocoa Beach and it was fine. Stayed at icky, icky Econolodge at Cocoa Beach one time. It is the one that has a picture of the astronauts in the pool. Would never stay there again. Also stayed at, I believe it was the Cocoa Beach Hilton and it was nice but no balconies on beach. I got it through Priceline or Hotwire. If it is only for one night, I would bid on something at Cocoa Beach as it is very close to Canaveral. There is always the Radisson Resort at the Port. We have stayed there as well and it was nice, but would still recommend going through Priceline or Hotwire for best deal. Just depends on you. Wherever you stay, just make the best of it because you are CRUISING SOON!!!!! ken_nyc Posted June 2, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 2, 2004 The Radisson internet price for their regular room is $85.00, but you have to pay upfront with your credit card. I did it for my August cruise. I thought it was a good deal. KellyJean Posted June 2, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 2, 2004 Holiday Inn Express Cocoa Beach (not to be confused with the "oceanfront" one). The HIE is newer than the HI Oceanfront. nursejewels Posted June 3, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 3, 2004 Cocoa Beach La Quinta was fine...a bit less than the others mentioned, I believe we paid around $69, and it was fine and had a great continental breakfast with a waffle-maker that was really good! It was also close to the port, but not on the beach, it was across the main street, I think Atlantic Ave? Near Ron Jon shop. And near The Pier, which was a fun place to hang out the night before our cruise! rosecitycruisers Posted June 3, 2004 #7 Share Posted June 3, 2004 Check out this web site for an overview of all lodging in the PC area, we stayed at the Best Western on the beach and took Art's shuttle back and forth to the terminal, very convenient. www.dcltribute.com/lodging Jim Enchantment of the Seas 1997 Grand Princess 1998 Carnival Celebration 1999 Enchantment of the Seas 2000 Enchantment of the Seas 2001 Carnival Pride 2002 Carnival Glory 2003 Sovereign of the Seas 2004 Mariner of the Seas 10/24/
