If you go mid July to mid August it could probably be a few more.  The staff who run the Moana programme are fantastic and looked after our 8-year-old really well and the programme was fun and very educational too.  I was also pleased that many of the older people on the ship complimented us on our boy rather than being annoyed by his presence.  We hope to be back on the Paul Gauguin in the near future it's a fabulous cruise for families and very underrated in my opinion.

I’m sure that’s right. Additionally, bringing kids, buying two extra plane tickets and booking an extra cabin for a 14-day voyage is … not cheap. When we were last on the PG (early 30’s without kids) I remember it being very friendly to families, though. We’ll hope for some kids in July, but be prepared either way.
