Temperature On Ship In The Med?

Leaving from Southampton, I am going on a two week med cruise as far as Italy in a couple of weeks time.

Looking at temps for certain stops, places like Cadiz can get to 40c plus.

On a nice day on our East coast it can be 23c, but a few miles inland rise to 32c.

While out at sea, will it be a little cooler on the ship in the Med than on land? Or just a heat fest, it won’t make any difference?

Thanks

Inside there is air conditioning so it will certainly be cooler and depending on the setting could even be cold in some areas.

Outside because the ship is moving there will be some degree of breeze on open decks but in some of the sheltered spots out of the breeze and it can get very hot if you are in full sun.

You should be able to find a cooler spot somewhere on the ship - but remember that the ship moves and what was a shaded spot ten minutes ago can be in full sun in ten minutes time

The advantage of holidaying on a ship is (theoretically) however hot it is outside the interior of the ship is comfortably air conditioned.

Also (hopefully) there might be a cooling sea breeze while outside when on deck, but be careful of sunburn. It's always cooler at sea than on land.

Out on Deck in the Med last month on Arcadia it could vary hugely in various areas,if you were in the sun but out of the breeze it could be pretty hot, forward on Deck 11 where it has glass screens it was like a furnace!
