Yes, I saw they were $1000 pp so definitely won’t be going, but if it’s worth it to you go for it. For me I would skip even if included.

I didn't ask that specific question, but after talking to someone in Expeditions it does sound like part of the reason Seabourn charges for kayaking (vs others who don't) and charges SO MUCH for the submarines, as it acts as a filter on demand and ensures that the people who are really passionate are going to get the spots. Our cruise had no open submarine spots at $1000 a pop...so why lower that number?

 

And for the record, when I say 'part of the reason' I'm pretty sure it's no more than 10% of the reason. Pretty sure 90% of the reason is quite simply 💰💰💰💰
