CARNIVAL JUBILEE CHRISTMAS 2024

Recommended Posts

Woke up yesterday and found out my wife had booked (I'm not mad at her 😁) the Jubilee out of Galveston for Christmas 2024.  It is our Homeport and super easy to drive to.

Rate was $100 pp and had $750 OBC along with drinks on us in the casino. (We usually do Cheers)

So excited to see the new ship.  Our original Jubilee cruise was cancelled for early December 2023, which allowed us to book the Venezia for 15-day in late September 2023.

Everything happens for a reason, they say......

Happy Cruising y'all

Dan

Hi @Haljo1935,  we are cruising September 29 - October 14.

We'll leave our part in good shape for you - we're on Sept 16-29. Envious of your $100pp/$750 OBC cruise!! Merry Christmas - you owe your wife a hug. 😉

Oh nice!!! Enjoy your cruise, it should be awesome!  Yeah I do.... she always gets the best offers.  Really surprised to see the XMAS one at the $100 pp. We have never cruised over Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years...

I was surprised by that offer and read your post to DH. He can't take off at Christmas, but knows I'll go w/my sister if I get an offer like that.

We've done 3 Christmas cruises. Our very first cruise many years ago was a Christmas 🎄 cruise, we were on ChristmasDay & New Years Day so got to experience them both. They feel special - ship is decorated, passengers decorated (pajamas to headgear...), special menus. Ports are decorated, too.

LOTS of families so LOTS of kids.

What a great surprise (and great deal)!

Crossing my fingers there are no more cancellations as we are booked for this coming New Year's Eve.

I will be rooting for you.  We were on the week before XMAS so we got cancelled.  Used the 25% off and OBC off for the Venezia this fall.

We will be there right with you!  Back when Carnival was practically giving away their cruises, we got the balcony special (we got a forward facing balcony on 9th floor), with free drinks and $1000 free cash on board.  I booked 3 cruises at the same time because it was such a great deal.  I did not realize this was the inaugural cruise out of Galveston.  This will also be our first Platinum cruise so it is either going to really be a blast or crazy (or both).
