DLX Rides in Juneau - Mendenhall Glacier

Looking for reviews and how far in advance you booked your car.  We were just cancelled by Glacier Blue Bus as they can not get any more permits.  I do not want to take city bus due to the extra walking distance and Dlx Rides can get us into the visitors center.   We will be there 8/14 and worried they will book up too. I did try calling but they do not have a voicemail available and no one answers.

I was able to make a reservation through their website

Try the website. We did this the past two summers. Quick response for us. Also picked us up on time.

We have booked them for 8/2 and have been booked with them since February.  I sent an email to Shane as I was concerned about all of the issues, and he immediately replied with:  
 

             I have covered the number of bookings (you) and impromptu guests for th season within my quota.

 

               We are all good.


I have been very impressed with their communication and timeliness and anticipate that we will be just as happy upon our arrival.

I'm curious about this.  Does this mean they have extras? Or does this mean only that you and few other people are covered, but nothing available after that?
