Rare Nikodemos Posted July 9, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2023 We just experienced our first MSC YC trip on the World Europa, and we loved the superior personalized service offered with the butler and in the YC restaurant, Top Sail Lounge. Has anyone experienced a similar level of customer service at an all-inclusive resort or hotel? My wife sorely misses being pampered like this. We'd go on more YC trips if they had a ship on the US west coast, but alas, we'd have to travel to Florida or NY for the nearest MSC ships. I certainly haven’t but having said that, I haven’t been to any high end all inclusives, more mediocre ones which I have found boring. I have friends who love the Sandals resorts, where I’m sure the service is excellent, but for me, I’ll take a cruise anytime over an all inclusive, especially now I’ve discovered the YC! mnpurple Posted July 11, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 11, 2023 I booked a Hyatt Ziva at Playa Del Carmen for November that is AI. It was opened within the last year and most reviews/videos I've seen look really great. They had a separate building opened even more recently with a higher level of VIP service and Butlers, better restaurants and amenities. That might be something you could look into, especially if you have loyalty with Hyatt and points. I'm not in the VIP building, but booked a full week with points before they recently increased the daily rate. The rates are definitely higher than it is to sail in YC though if you pay $$. Rare Nikodemos Posted July 12, 2023 Author #4 Share Posted July 12, 2023 I had been looking at the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, so it's good that you had confirmed that other Hyatt Ziva's have good VIP service.
benjaminnicholas Posted July 12, 2023 #5 Share Posted July 12, 2023 Zilara and Ziva are fine properties. Their two nicest are in Punta Cana and Cancun. VIP service? Meh. Not incredible, even on the Tourquoize side (VIP tower). It's hit or miss.
Tierun Posted July 12, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2023 Le blanc resort in Cabo or Cancun.
bluefish17 Posted July 12, 2023 #7 Share Posted July 12, 2023 I second Le Blanc. I have been on several YC cruises on MSC and went to Le Blanc in Cabo last January. My wife and I both agreed it was just like the YC on land!
