DeeDeeDooDoo Posted March 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2006 How much should I expect to pay for a cab ride from the airport to the RCI dock? And how long is the ride?
superjerryw Posted March 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2006 About $25 and about 20-30 minutes.
HappyCruiser383 Posted March 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2006 You can probably cheat and take the Dollar rental car shuttle to their office then take their shuttle to the port for free. :D
trixie54 Posted March 16, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2006 Is that $25 per taxi or per person?

trixie54 Posted March 16, 2006 #7 Share Posted March 16, 2006 Now one more question - do you tip just 15-20% or do you add to that for the driver putting luggage in & out of the trunk? If so, how much?
superjerryw Posted March 16, 2006 #8 Share Posted March 16, 2006 That's really a personal decision on your part. I tip the usual 15 - 20%. I may tip more for handling the luggage if the driver was nice. We travel very light so we really don't have that much luggage. The fare from the airport to the port is actually a fixed rate so the driver can't really take "the long way" to raise the fare.
CruisinDawn Posted March 16, 2006 #9 Share Posted March 16, 2006 The rate is a set rate too. So if the cab driver gets lost, hehe, it's still the same flat rate. BonVoyage Dawna
