Our five night cruise had 2 evening chic nights last fall.  The year before that same itinerary only had 1 so I think the Captain/ship team has some discretion.

On the Equinox a couple of months ago we just had one evening chic night on a six nighter.  
Originally, when they loaded activities on the app several weeks before the sailing it showed two. By the time of the cruise it was changed.
