born2crooz Posted June 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2004 The Triumph and the Victory are identical in cabin layout. All have small sofas that sleep 1 and queen size bed. Look for a bold circle, which denotes 1 upper, that pulls down from the ceiling. There are quite a few of them. If not, you will get a rollaway, which takes up a lot of space. The bunk was great and neither the bunk, nor the sofa took up any more space when set up for a bed. Our children are 6 and 8 and we've had balconies twice so far. Set the ground rules. No balconies without adults. The doors are VERY heavy and cannot be opened by a small child very easily. If they tried to open it, you'll know it, trust me. The railings are, say, at least 4 ft high and glassed in at the bottom. They can see the ocean even sitting on the deck. No need for them to leave over. It's virtually impossible. There is also a slide bolt to lock the door and again, very difficult for a child. Hope this helps!! You can email me at born2crooz@comcast.net with any questions. Catrin Posted June 6, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 6, 2004 You can also look for a room with an infinity symbol... These have one queen sized bed, one top bunk and a convertable sofa.... We stayed in a cabin like this on our first Triumph Cruise, and it worked out very well. I agree with the above posted about the balcony. The number one rule our kids had all week was that they were not allowed out on the balcony without one of us. Towards the end of the week, we would let them out.. as long as they 1) sat in the chairs and 2) we could see them with our curtain open. We loved the balcony, and would never sail without one again!
