Carnival Pins and Sail & Sign Cards

Was just going through a drawer in the kitchen and came across two Canival Pins, the ones with the ships name on it that the room steward gives you on your last night. We have about 10 of these pins in different places around the house, some still on the cards.

 

What do all of you do with these after you get home? Also what do you do with Sail & Sign cards? I keep my most recent in my wallet and look at it once in a while, the rest are kept in a drawer together. Just can't seem to bring myself to throw the darned things out!

I put my pins on my lanyard. I have only received 1 from Carnival and I got a CC pin and a VOTS pin. Waiting to see if I get one from Conquest.

I just got back from the Glory and I saw several people with their pins on their hats.

Thought that was a great idea.

For the sign and sail cards, I keep my in my scrap book.

Wish I could say I had as many as you.

I too keep them on my lanyard. I trade my DH's for ones I do not have.

As far as the others I think I'll hang on to the dupes since they seem to be more valuable than I had thought - you all are making me feel guilty for not taking better care of them!

 

NOTE TO FREQUENT FLOATER: I sent out a message to a friend who also has Carnival pins and asked if she'd take a look in her collection for Celebration. She'll get back to me. She's a little older and it may take her a few days to look, though.

 

We sail the Glory in Sept and will prob get pins then. I'd gladly send you the Celebration pin if she has one with no swap necessary.

 

You know, a swap thread could be started on the Carnival boards for these pins!

I agree you should keep ALL your pins just in case.

Katie its hit or miss if Carnival gives out the pins. If they do have them they are given out with invitation to the repeat passenger party.

Hi Katie. I've gotten my pins at different times. Once it was in the envelope with the invitation to the Past Guest party. Last cruise, it was handed to me by the Captain when I entered the party. (Next cruise, if you don't get one, ask about it at the Purser's desk.)
