Any Recommendations for More Active Excursions in Sitka

We're to be in Sitka for about 7 hours next July.  We like day hikes and biking.  What would you recommend as excursions for two to ten people who all like to be active?  Age range from 14 through mid-60s.

You can walk through the Totem Park to the Raptor Center.  Fortress of the Bears is much further out.

When we were there in 2019 you were able to hire bikes from Yellow Jersey Bike Hire and take yourself off on a self guided tour

I have not been there, so I cannot recommend, but I plan on trying the Indian River Trail when I visit in 2024.

Back in 2011 my husband and I did a private tour (it was supposed to be a group tour but the others cancelled and he took us out anyway!) with Captain Davey on the Esther G... we still talk about it to this day. Fantastic wildlife tour, I had so much fun riding in the front of the boat. He also does Surf and Turf tours where you can combine boat and walking/hiking.
