ljrfrm Posted June 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2004 We will be returning from the Carnival Paradise on Sunday, July 4th. We are staying the night in South Beach before returning home the next afternoon. Can anyone recommend a place to go with three children (we'll be going by taxi so not too far away) for 4th of July celebration and/or fireworks? Just not sure what goes on in that area, and thought it would be fun for the boys to see fireworks if possible. Thanks for your help. Rosstu Posted June 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2004 I would recommened Bayfront Park for 4th of July. It is within short distance of south beach, good for kids, very nice fireworks. Their website reads: "Sunday, July 4: America's Birthday Bash Bring the whole family out to celebrate the birth of our great nation at the biggest birthday party in Miami!! Live music, food, drink, arts & crafts, and of course - the ultimate fireworks display!! FREE ADMISSION - NO COOLERS, CANS, BOTTLES, OR FIREWORKS ALLOWED" NCL Majesty 11/98 Fascination 10/01 Triumph 12/02 Triumph 8/03 RCCL Majesty of the Seas 11/
