Skegway - Train and Motorcoach trips

Would you recommend the 3.5 hour White Pass Rail & Klondike Highway Motorcoach and train ride

OR

the 8.25 hour Yukon Expedition & White Pass Scenic Railway & Motorcoach?????

If you have the time and are willing to spend the money, take the 8.25 hour Yukon Expedition. We did the coach tour part of it last year. It will take you by bus up the Klondike Highway to Carcross, Yukon, where you'll have lunch at the trading post. The bus will stop for pictures at various stops along the way. You'll then go to the town of Carcross before heading back to Fraser, BC, where you'll get on the train to go back to Skagway. Incredible scenery. 

We didn't do the train last year, but we plan to do it when we go back in four weeks. This time, we're just doing the train to White Pass and back to Skagway. 

Both are good, but take the big one if you can.

Take the longest one you can afford. The train bus combo is nice. I usually go with Chilkoot Charters.  Even just the bus trip is nice, again take the long one
