Explorer.... Adventure Beach water slide?

I am curious to know what ages the water slide is restricted to?

 

Does the AO staff ever take the kids in the 9-11 group to the slide?

As I recall, there is a height restriction (and the average 11 yr old would be way too tall).

IMHO that whole adventure ocean section(pool & slide) is really for toddlers thru maybe 1st grade. :eek:

We were on the Explorer in January and all 3 of my children were on the waterslide. My oldest who is 11 was on the slide all the time and there wasn't a problem.

 

She is not the tallest girl, but there were kids much taller then her on as well and there was someone supervising.

 

As for your original question about the AO staff, I don't really think they ever take the children to any water programs. They don't even take bathing suits with them to the AO program.
