Glory Verandah Deck ????

Leaving in 43 days on Glory Eastern, cabin assignment on Verandah deck, anyone have any information they can share regarding this deck? It's our first balcony, looking forward to coffee and bloody mary's in the morning.

We've never been booked higher than the Empress deck on past cruises.

We were on the Conquest (sister ship) last week on the Veranda deck.

You hear quite a lot of chair scraping in the cabin (depending on where on the ship you are) It wasn't enough to ruin our trip, or even bother us much, but someting to be aware of. Take earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

It is pretty easy to get to the Lido deck (one deck up) for pools and buffets and such. And it is not so far away from the lower decks. Just remeber to go down the right stairs, if you are going to the dining room. You can't walk far on deck 3 and 4 because of the dining rooms and galley, so it is easier to start in the right place (that messed me up all week!)

We had cabin 8245 on the Glory. Verandah deck. It was right near the Atrium elevators. Short flight of stairs to Lido. Quiet because it has cabins above it (no Lido noise).

Spa was 2 decks above and I used it to shower for formal nights so GF could have run of the cabin while dressing.

Two couples in our group had the divider opened between their cabins. Nice.

You'll like the Glory. It is an awesome Ship.
