Happy to help with your most northern stop. Once you have been to Scapa Flow, seen the amazing church built and decorated by Italian prisoners of war, explored the 5000 year old Skara Brae settlement and the standing stones, the church at Twatt makes a fun stop.

You should try Iceland then, if you think the UK is expensive. At in the UK and Europe you pay the price you see and not have to pay extra taxes and extortionate tips etc
