QM2 Golf Simulator

Due on a T/A in December - and was wondering if anyone was aware of the indoor golf simulator being “back in service” for private bookings? (by the indoor pool)
 

When I was last onboard Dec 2022 - it was only open for open “activity sessions”. The type advertised in the daily programme, such as Nearest pin competitions, baseball and football games. 
 

Speaking with Entertainment Director at the time he said they couldn’t in good faith rent the area out for a cost as the equipment (clubs) were so poor, he was hoping for new equipment to be purchased.

So this is a near live report from The Fairways on QM2 this poor weather night in the North Sea.

 

And it was a new one on me, a utter non-golfer, since I've walked past this sign without actually knowing what it was (OK, there is picture, but still). So this is right by the Pavilion Pool.

 

And this comes to the door which permanently says there is a golf event on at that moment - lies!

 

 

And open sesame we have this:

 

 

 

And on the table there are a few golf "things", there is a tee (if I've got the right lingo) squashed on the floor so I think it has been used recently. And a locked ante-room which I felt was beyond my duties to CC to attempt to find out more.

 

On the programme today there isn't anything golf like that I can spot, other than a mention of a "Silly Bowling Competition" at Pavilion Pool at 4pm.

doesn’t look like there has been much movement on that front - might have to bring my own clubs 😂
