Well, perhaps as a result of posting here and somebody somewhere waving their magic wand...

 

...just received a call from my contact at Travelocity offering tickets for an 11-day cruise on Mercury, departing Ensenada May 8 for Alaska and Seattle! (Ironically, one of the port calls is SF - so I'll be able to pick up anything I've forgotten from home! :cool: )

That's fantastic Brian! I hope you will enjoy the Celebrity experience. I would say it is on par with HAL, they are definitely in the same class. We would like a full trip report of course!
