cruise_Cruise_cruise Posted October 16, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2023 (edited) I receive offers on Casino Royale that include some free cruise fares, some of which have a "trade in value". I read the entirety of the terms and conditions (here) and I just can't figure out how one would "use" the trade-in value, what (if any) the restrictions are on it, or what it could be for. Thanks for the help! Edited October 16, 2023 by cruise_Cruise_cruise
ace1zoe2 Posted October 16, 2023 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2023 In lieu of the offered itineraries you may apply the "trade in value" to any cruise of your choice. Call Casino Royal booking, tell them the cruise you want, then the offer number. The fare will be reduced by the trade in value.
realaud Posted October 26, 2023 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2023 A thing to consider when using trade in value. The casino comp cruise offer is for two people in a cabin and you pay only the port taxes per person. If you don't like the comp itineraries/ships, you can use the trade in value, but understand it is a discount off the cabin fare, not per person. So, if you have $750 trade in value and the cruise you select is $1,000 per person, that would be $2,000 less $750 for the cabin or $1250 for two people plus the port taxes.
