JS Cabin on Hump AOS's?

My parents just cruised for the first time (with us!) and they had JS 1312 on the hump. The balcony was a really nice size :) We actually liked their cabin (for storage purposes) better than our GS !

This cabin had great views of almost every port (even though it was starboard) because the ship "backed" into several ports.

Been twice in 9318 JS - hump and going again in 9618 (same location, but other side of the ship). Pictures are in my webshots link below.

As for which side is better, it is really the luck of the draw. Sometimes the AOS docks straight in and other times it backs in. Anyway, if we didn't see what we wanted to see, we just went up to the pool deck and walked to the other side.
