Lori777 Posted March 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2006 Hello all, just wondering if anyone has recently stayed at this Hotel? What did you think of it? Are there any restaurants nearby? Liquor stores nearby? Is all this stuff in walking distance? How is the swimming pool? I believe the water taxi is close. Does anyone know how much it costs by taxi from Fort Lauderdale airport? How much by taxi to the port? I thought I read that the hotel has a shuttle, $4.00 per person to pier, is that correct. I would appreciate any help. emerald777 Posted March 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2006 Hi Lori - I stayed there last year before the CB. It's a beautiful hotel, right across the street from the entrance to the port. Taxi from Airport to hotel is approx 15.00. Taxi to port was only 3.00, better and cheaper than the shuttle. Walking distance from lots of resturants, etc. You'll only be one block from all of us at HIEX. I though I had posted a link to my pics for you? Must have been someone else. Here's a couple of them (room and view from room).
