"Obstructed View" Verandah cabin on Sensation

Is anyone familiar with how "obstructed" the view is from one of these?...V42 in particular...it's the only verandah cabin available for our sailing date. Just wondering if it's still pretty decent, maybe just a certain angle is blocked? I'm, assuming it's one of the lifeboats that's in the way? Feedback from anyone who has stayed in one of these cabins or on a similar ship would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We were on the Verandah Deck on the Elation (sister ship to the Sensation) and although we had an inside room, we saw that the rooms across the hall had orange life boats in their window. Beyond that, you could see the water. Hope this helps.

Obstructed is having a lifeboat on the other side of your verandah, but I'd rather have that than an inside cabin. I need windows and doors!

We liked it very much. It is the same cabin as on the other decks. We have had an ocean view in the past but would rather spend the extra money either on the ship or an excursion. We are just not in the room long enough and at night you can't see anything anyway. One nice thing is that there is a faux window with a curtain so we always just say that we don't want to look outside right now. Works!! Also, my husband loves the observation deck which is just down the hall on the Verandah deck. We were in V36 - a great room.
