SP2023 Posted December 8, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2023 I am about to pre-order the full internet package for our Costa cruise. I noticed the following sentence on Costa's website: You can use this package on all your devices, but only on one device at a time. How does this work? I want to use wi-fi on both my phone and my laptop. If I connect to the wi-fi with my phone first, will the phone then be automatically disconnected when I connect with my laptop? Or do I have to disconnect manually?
Rare At7Seas Posted December 8, 2023 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2023 It works manually. But… as long as Costa didn’t invent anything to prohibit recently (system is currently updated) there is a convenient way to work around. You could use your phone as local hot spot. As soon as your phone is close enough to your laptop both are connected. 1
OtakuJoe Posted January 2 #3 Share Posted January 2 Sailed on smeralda last month, when signing into laptop, phone eventually lost connection and vice versa. Costa app still works without paid connection
